Duties: The goal of this project is to address the needs of underserved and unserved youth who

have co-occurring mental health problems and developmental disabilities. The project’s lead

evaluator will be responsible for overseeing the collection of performance assessments and will

also serve on the project’s strategic planning workgroup, meeting monthly with this group. As a

member of this workgroup, the lead evaluator will present any new findings or information that

relate to the progress of the project. This ‘feedback loop’ will be created to ensure that

communication about the current successes and challenges are known by those facilitating the

planning for the project. This will also assure continuous quality improvement by providing

direction, performing quality reviews, and guiding stakeholder communications related to the

evaluation.

Duties: Oversee the evaluation component of Project Kealahou, a 6-year Substance Abuse and

Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) funded project that will enhance CAMHD’s

system of care. Project Kealahou builds responsive trauma-informed practices across Hawaii’s

facilitating the appropriate and effective integration and use of both CAMHD’s data and the

project’s data. Participate in and present at national conferences.
