CAREER HIGHLIGHTSWhile employed by a local agency, I had the privilege of working on an amazing project for the McDonald’s All American Games. We produced street graphics, TV promotions, building banners, event programs, and VIP name tags. It is incredible to now see some of these players now playing in the NBA.
Recently, I had the privilege of working for a local, home town grocery store chain. They have been my neighborhood store my entire life. It was a very fast environment but not a lot of money to spend. So we had to come up with creative ways to advertise, such as shelf sign shells that could be imprinted at store level. This allowed the stores to stay on top of sales and trends. Good team to work with, as well as having a strong company behind me.

The Caterpillar ISR Boot Camps have been recalibrated for 2016, but offer the same customized training curriculum for ISRs selling product support for Machines, Power Systems and Marine divisions as well as a Machine ISR Boot Camp for Inside Sales Reps selling BCP/CCE equipment. The 5-day ISR Boot Camps will be held in Peoria, IL and will feature more one-on-one coaching to help sustain results and ensure your investment increases sales performance. What do these modifications mean to you as a sales manager?
LESS TIME
LESS COST
MORE RESULTS
Research overwhelmingly indicates that pre-training activities have a major impact on sales training sustainment.
Did you know only 12% of training material is retained after 30 days if the material is not reinforced in some manner? However, if follow up is provided within those 30 days, the amount of material retained increases to 88%.
ISR BOOT CAMPS 2016
For more information, or to register, contact:Traci Shepley Senior Account Manager
Business Performance Group Box 7750 Urbandale, Iowa 50323 O (877) 521-3215 • C (515) 249-1341
During the training
The ISR Boot Camps target key areas like; prospecting, how to proactively manage a territory, sales execution and time management. This highly interactive 5-day training teaches your ISR the discipline of the sales process through direct experience. Following 2 days of instructor led training the ISR will spend 1 ½ days making sales calls in their dealer territories while being shadowed by a sales coach who provides immediate feedback. The sales coach will also assist the ISR in identifying a list of target accounts within their territory to establish a strategy for approaching each customer, using the skills and techniques demonstrated and practiced during Boot Camp.
Post-training coaching and strategy execution
Training is merely information. But combine training with application and timely feedback, and new skills and behaviors are developed. That’s why every participant will be contacted by a sales coach within 10 days of attending the Boot Camp to review and reinforce the strategies for penetrating the ISR’s targeted accounts. And when necessary, additional coaching sessions will be scheduled. By strengthening post-training follow up, you’re ensured a maximum return on your training investment.
NOW OFFERING PRE-TRAINING COACHING AND ASSESSMENTAn individualized 1-hour webinar is conducted by a sales coach 30 days prior to the Boot Camp to discuss prerequisites, assist ISRs in preparing a market analysis, and establish the ISR’s baseline understanding of the job role and responsibilities.
