    Configuration Of DS350 Series:

    Step 1:Open CSC-350 Configuration Software. It

    appears as shown below.

    Step 2:Select Online Config from the window which

    is shown above.

    (Note: Online config mode works only when CS

    Instrument is Connected to the compute Via USB. While

    Offline Config is used to configure the device which

    is not connected to the computer at present. You can

    also read a saved configuration file from the hard

    disk by clickin on the Load configuration from File

    Option.)

    Step 3:Click Auto Detect From the Window shown above.

    It Will Show you a list of devices which is connected

    to the computer at present. Select the Device which

    you want to configure and click ok the Following

    window will appear on the screen as shown below.

    Step 4:IN Device Information Screen, you will find

    the information about the Device like Serial Number,

    Device address, Firmware Version etc.

    Step 5:In Sensor Input Screen, you need to

    configure what type of sensor used in the terminals

    as shown below. There are four Kinds of terminals as

    shown below.

    Step 6:Select the sensor type for each terminal with

    the wiring and which is given above. Note that the

    sensor type and the wiring terminal should be correct

    in order to get the values from the field.

    Step 7: In Modbus Master Screen, Set the values of

    the communication Protocol you are using like Baud

    rate, time out, delay, type of Device etc.

    Step 8: In Virtual Channel Screen, Create the

    number of channels that you have connected to the

    Device with their unit.

    Step 9:In Display Screen, Configure the Display ofthe display according to Channel as shown below. You

    can create Different Pages to display in the Device

    screen by clicking Add Page in the dialog box shown

    below.

    Step 10:Alarms can be set for the channels with the

    values in the Alarms screen.

    Step 11:In Time & Logging Screen, the values to

    logged is configured. You can modify the logging

    conditions, Logging intervals (i.e) the time

    intervals for each log and the description of the

    logging file .

    (Note: In Time & Logging Screen there are two

    columns present in the bottom of the screen. The left

    column shows the number of channels configured in the

    Device and the right column shows the number of the

    channel values which is logged.)

    Step 12:In Field Bus Interface Screen, there will

    be two options which is shown below.

    Select the communication protocol you are using, it

    can be RS-485 or Ethernet.

    (Note: If you are using RS-485 you have to give the

    address of the protocol you are using. If you are

    Ethernet, you have to specify the IP of the Device or

    you can select the device to obtain the IP

    automatically with respect to the network it is

    connected.)

    Step 13:Finally, you can download the configuration

    directly to the Device which is connected or you can

    save the configuration in the hard disk for further

    use.
