INSTRUCTION BOOK
The Cruiser A9 and A10 were developed asBritish medium tanks between 1936 and1938. The main differences between the twomarks were 1) the number of hull machineguns, 2) the number of crew and 3) thethickness of armour. The main armament wasthe two-pounder QF gun with a machine gunmounted co-axially. The A9 carried a crew of6 and had 2 hull machine gun turrets. TheA10 had a crew of 5 with a single hullmounted machine gun.
The A9 and A10 were powered by a 6 cylinder petrol engine connected to a 5 speed gearbox.
300 Cruiser tanks A9 and A10 were produced and they saw action in France, North Africa and Greece.
