Specific targets of the plan

•To reduce the problems in assistance patients that live in neighbouring areas, through a better interregional collaboration and a strengthening of the guarantees of service from the sanitary institutions, according to the line of Interreg III plane of UE.

Specific targets of the plan

1. To increase the value of particular sanitary specializations in every area with the possibility of an exchange of patients in well-defined circles

2. To improve medical scientific cooperation among the regions

3. To increase combined refresher activities

4. To prepare multilingual informative guides for patients

6. PR activities consisting in informative events for patients, for medical staff and for the population

7. To create a link for a data transmission of the medical reports among the involved hospitals (privacy)

5. To create a common network for data sharing

8. Promotion orientation to patient in hospitals in the Alps-Adriatic region through measures to improve communication with non-native patients

Difficulties in making use of planned treatments

In Italy the regions have legislative power about sanity and they can initial agreements with States and with bodies

In Austria the State has the legislative power and so every possible agreement have to be signed with central government

Possibility 1: cooperation between the two communication servers, on one sideAustria and Friuli Venezia Giulia and on the other side Veneto through a commutating gateway.So it is possible to create a communication between the two systems and create also a cooperation among Carinzia, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto.The testing of the gateway can be unrelated with the application contents and it can verify the commutation among the different (protocols ??) and among the different characteristics of the messages

GL4 e 5 : Updating and training

- The organization of german courses

- Exchange of sanitary operators between Carinzia and Veneto with stages of two weeks in the hospital in Feltre (a nurse or male nurse, a technician), Bassano del Grappa (a linguist therapist), Villach (an educator) and Klagenfurt (a doctor)

- Informations about the project for citizens and operators on web

- Preparation, translation, printing and sitribution of 30.000 copies of the booklet entitled “Accesso ai servizi di prima assistenza sanitaria nella provincia di Udine”

- Integrable forms for sanitary staff and for foreign citizens to facilitate the access to pediatrics, pharmacology, dentistry, veterinarian

• Patient care (Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 on the application of social security schemes to employed persons and their families moving within the Community and Regulation N° 574/72).

• In practice, the assistance is limited to urgent cases of tourists

• As part of emergency treatment the situation can be improved through collaboration as the surrounding areas would be ensured faster performance.
