Crooble ChronicleCrooble ChronicleCrooble ChronicleCrooble Chronicle May 2012May 2012May 2012May 2012 Hello All, Well, a very short message this month so I can fit it all in! Well done to those who organised and attended the Croppa P&C Trivia night last month, unfortunately wet and very bad roads kept us home but undoubtedly a great night had by all. Lots to keep us busy this month but if you haven’t heard of FarmDay (where farmers host city families in the interest of strengthening understanding), have a look at this website for more info: www.farmday.com.au, They need more farmers to host as there is a waiting list. Please get on board if you can! Happy planting all. Ed
Congratulations! To Glen and Merry Miller who are thankful for the safe arrival of their granddaughter Claire Elise. First child for Mark and Kylie.

Joke for the day! The Haircut
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm
doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the
shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a policeman comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill,
the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing
community service this week.' The policeman was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you'
card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door
Then an MP came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the
barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The MP was very happy and left the shop..
The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen
MP’s lined up waiting for a free haircut.
