Nanny/Babysitter Pass Available to All Facility Family or Family Aquatic Center Passes. Pass holder must apply with the family that is employing them and provide proof of employment. Pass can only be used when the holder is with a family member. Pass holder must be age 16 or older.

Proofs of Residency - ID CardTwo forms of identification that include your name and address must be provided. One item must be a current photo ID. To qualify for Lindbergh School District rates, Lindbergh Residents will need to verify two forms of current residency. Business Membership categories are available to anybody employed by a business located within the appropriate boundaries with proof of current employment such as a current pay stub.

Family StatusA Family is defined as no more than two adults and two depen-dent children under the age of 23 residing at the same address. Anyone over the age of 16 being included on the pass will need to show proof of residency by the use of a photo ID and/or any other record of residency.

Additional Person This can be added to the Family Passes. Must follow the rules of family status.

Swim & Dive Team Ages 5 - 18The Crestwood Swim and Dive Team is a recreational team with an emphasis on developing basic compet-itive skills. Swimmers and divers, ages 5-18 years are welcome to participate, however, the swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards (one pool length) continu-ously to be able to participate. Practice begins June 1 on weekday mornings between 7:00-10:00 am, de-pending on the swimmer’s age and skill level.Registrations are to be made in-person at the Crestwood Community Center. Two $50 volunteer deposit checks are required at registration. Parents/guardians are required to work three swim or dive meets AND Prelims/Finals during the season. Checks are only returned after your scheduled volun-teer shifts have been fulfilled. Meet schedule, break-down of practice times, and other additional informa-tion will be provided in the “Welcome Letter” packet that will be available at time of registration. Registration begins April 24. Registration begins April 24 for returning mem-bers and new Crestwood Residents. Registration for Non-Residents (as space allows) will be May 15 through 30. Season is June 1 through July 23Parent Information Meeting will be May 12 at 7:00pm at Pavilion #3 in Whitecliff Park for new and returning participants.

Early ClosingsDue to Swim & Dive Meets on June 17, June 22, and July 8 the Competition Pool will close at 2:00pm and entire facility will close at 5:00pm. On July 6, the Com-petition Pool will close at 1:30pm and reopen once the Dive Competition is complete. • On days with cool/inclement weather and/or low

patron usage (below 20 patrons), the Aquatic Cen-ter or portions of the facility may not be available.

• If the temperature is below 75 degrees at 11:00am, only the Competition Pool may be open.

• Dates and time of hours of operation may change depending on Lindbergh School District’s sched-ule.

Group Swim LessonsSwim lessons are based on age and skill level which are divided into a variety of different groups to accommo-date swimmers of all skill levels. Listed below are the different levels that are offered with a brief description of the skills taught in each group. Deadline to register is one week prior to start date. All classes are 30 min-utes in length, and will consist of 8 classes.

WATER DISCOVERY - Ages 6 months - 3 years. Intended to develop comfort in and around the water through interactive games and songs. Parent/guardian is required. Children who are diaper dependent are re-quired to wear swim diapers (cloth and disposable diapers are prohibited). WATER EXPLORATION - For children ages 3 - 5 years. Children learn to get comfortable in the water. Children will learn basic water skills such as alternating leg and arm motion on their stomach and back, float-ing, putting their faces in the water with assistance from their parent/guardian. Parent/guardian participation is required for this class.PRE-LEVEL 1 - For children ages 3 - 5 years. This class is for those who are comfortable putting their face in the water but are not yet floating or swimming on their own. Children will learn basic water skills such as alternating leg and arm motion on their stomach and back, floating, and putting their faces in the water with assistance from an instructor. LEVEL 1 - For children over the age of 4. Teaches buoyancy, breath control, and introduces basic water skills. LEVEL 2 - For children over the age of 4. Learn unsupported floating and kicking, while front crawl and back crawl are introduced.LEVEL 3 - For children over the age of 4. Continue to work on front crawl and back crawl, learn elementary backstroke, and begin diving. LEVEL 4 - For children over the age of 4. Continuing stroke development and adding the dolphin kick, tread-ing water, breaststroke and flip turns.

NEW Adult Group Lessons Ages 16+Swimmers are evaluated on the first day of class to help determine their previous experience and goals for the course. Student goals may range from floating and learning strokes to improving technique on those already learned. Advanced adult swimmers looking for further instruction may benefit from Private Swim Lessons. Deadline to register is one week prior to start of date. Private Swim Lessons - Youth & AdultPrivate or semi-private swim lessons allow the partic-ipant, of all ages and skill levels, to work at a personal-ized level to achieve swim goals. Private swim lessons are a good way to help swimmers focus on a particular skill, or to help overcome a fear of the water. Private swim lessons will begin the week of June 7. To be eli-gible for semi-private lessons, both participants must be at or near the same skill level. All Private Swim Lessons are 30 minutes in length.

We require at least 50% payment at time of camp registration. All remaining balances must be paid by May 1.

BEFORE camp registration opens, be sure you have your online account set up and ready to go at www.cityof-crestwood.org and click the button that reads “Parks and Rec Online Registration”. If you have signed up for any classes or memberships at the community center since the start of 2020, and you do not remember your log in or password info, please call the front desk at (314)729-4860 and we can help you retrieve that info.

Outdoor Adventures Day Camp

For campers going into Grades 1 - 6

We missed you in 2020 and can’t wait to have some fun in 2021! Camp will look a little different this year, but we do know that fun and enriching games and activities, time spent in nature with peers and of course swimming at the Crestwood Aquatic Center will make Outdoor Adventures Camp a highlight of your summer! Camp will take place (mostly) outdoors in Whitecliff Park, with some indoor activities and access to indoor space in case of inclement weather or excessive heat. There will NOT be any off site field trips this summer. COVID-19 precau-tions will be taken; specific guidelines will be determined closer to the start of camp based on St. Louis County regulations. The Crestwood Community Center is waiting on St. Louis County guidelines to determine if Before and After Care can be offered. Outdoor Adventures Camps is open to children entering 1st grade through those entering 6th grade this fall and meets from 9:00am to 3:00pm in Whitecliff Park. Swim-Venture Aquatic Camp5 Days Grades 1 - 6Come and join us for a week’s worth of water explora-tion! Swim-Venture Camp will consist of arts & crafts, open swim time, games, and more! Picnic PavilionAll pavilions can ac-commodate up to 75 people. Reservations may be made up to one year (365 days) in advance. Only residents may reserve Whitecliff Park Pavil-ion #2 or Crestwood Park Lower Pavilion more than 60 days in advance. All reserva-tions should be made in person at the Community Center during normal operating hours. Reservations cannot be made less than 48 hours prior to the desired date. There are no refunds or rescheduling of reser-vations due to inclement weather. All pavilions except Whitecliff #1 have electrical service. A Special Use Permit is required if you are using a City park and will have: inflatables, portable BBQ pits, tents or other structures, live music, you will be charging a fee or selling anything, or are planning a special event. Ask at the Com-munity Center to see if this applies to your rental or planned park use. Proof of residency is required in order to obtain resident rates. To prove residency, a photo ID and unpaid utility bill showing your Crestwood address will need to be presented. A current Resi-dent ID Card is required to receive resident rates.

Facility and RentalsNEW! Community Center Daily FeesResident: $3Non-Resident: $6Residents are required to have current ID Card to receive resident rate on daily fees and facility rentals.

Proofs of Residency - ID CardTwo forms of identification that include your name and address must be provided. One item must be a current photo ID. To qualify for Lindbergh School District rates, Lindbergh Residents will need to verify current residency. Business Mem-bership categories are available to anybody employed by a business located within the appropriate boundaries with proof of current employment such as a current pay stub.

Fitness CenterThe fitness room is open during normal operating hours of the Community Center. A guardian must accompany youth ages 12 to 14; 15 to 17 year olds must have a parent release form on file at the Community Center to use the facility on their own. No one under the age of 12 will be allowed in the fitness room.

Multipurpose RoomOpen basketball and volleyball time is subject to room availability. Open play schedules are published weekly.

Facility RentalsThe Community Center has small meeting rooms, the multipurpose room and lounge that are available for rentals. Rooms 106 and 107 can be rented together to make one large room. Call for current COVID-19 policies at (314)729 - 4860. Rentals can be made up to one year in advance and must be booked at least two weeks prior to the event.

Tennis Court ReservationsAll Facility, Recreation and Tennis Pass hold-ers may make tennis court res-ervations for the Whitecliff Park courts by calling the Community Center one-week in advance. Reservations must be made by 4:00pm for next day or by 4:00pm on Friday for Saturday, Sun-day and/or Monday reservations. Courts will not be cleared of snow or ice in the winter. Lights must be turned on by timer from November through April.

Kitun Dog ParkThe 2 acre dog park is located at 12343 Eddie and Park Road. The park has separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Crestwood residents receive resident rates for annual memberships. Tags are available at the Sunset Hills Community Center 3915 South Lind-bergh, Sunset Hills, MO 63127.
