Recreation PassAccess to Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Raquetball Courts, same privileges as Tennis Court Pass. It will serve as ID for Aquatic Center, allowing residents to pay resident rates.

Tennis PassAllows pass holder to make tennis reservations a maximum of one week in advance.

Family StatusA Family is defined as no more than two adults and two de-pendent children under the age of 23 residing at the same address. Anyone over the age of 16 being included on the pass will need to show proof of residency by the use of a photo ID and/or any other record of residency.

Additional Person This can be added to the Family Passes. Must follow the rules of family status.

Senior MembershipsA 10% discount is extended to all seniors age 62 or over. *Does not apply to ID card or daily admission fees*

Proofs of Residency - ID CardTwo forms of identification that include your name and address must be provided. One item must be a current photo ID. To qualify for Lindbergh School District rates, Lindbergh Residents will need to verify two forms of current residency. Business Membership categories are available to anybody employed by a business located within the appropriate boundaries with proof of current employment such as a current pay stub.

Inclement Weather Policy When the Lindbergh School District cancels school for the day, or if they delay the start of the day, due to inclement weather all morning programs and activities at the Crestwood Community Center will be canceled and the center will not open until 10am. This policy also applies if the Lindbergh School District changes to virtual learning for the day due to inclement weather. We will make a determination on all afternoon and evening classes by 11am. Please watch or listen to our local media for school clos-ings. We will also have the most up to date information on the City of Crestwood’s Parks and Recreation Facebook and Insta-gram pages. The Community Center staff will NOT call program participants to notify them of cancellations covered under this policy.

Tennis Court ReservationsAll Facility, Recreation and Tennis Pass holders may make tennis court reservations for the Whitecliff Park courts by calling the Community Cen-ter one-week in advance. Reservations must be made by 4:00pm for next day or by 4:00pm on Friday for Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday reservations. Courts will not be cleared of snow or ice in the winter. Lights must be turned on by timer from November through April.

Picnic Pavilion ReservationsAll pavilions can accommodate up to 75 people. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. Only residents may reserve Whitecliff Park Pavilion #2 or Crestwood Park Lower Pavilion more than 60 days in advance. All reservations should be made in person at the Community Center during operating hours. Reservations cannot be made less than 72 hours prior to the desired date. There are no refunds or reschedul-ing of reservations due to inclement weather. All pavilions except Whitecliff #1

have electrical service. A Special Use Permit is required if you are using a City park and will have: inflatables, tents or other structures, live music, you will be charging a fee or selling anything, or are planning a special event. Contact the Community Center to see if this applies to your reservation. A current resident ID Card is required to receive resident rates.

Fitness CenterThe fitness room is open during normal operating hours of the Community Center. A guardian must accompany youth ages 12 to 14; 15 to 17 year olds must have a parent release form on file at the Community Center to use the facility on their own. No one un-der the age of 12 will be allowed in the fitness

room.

Multipurpose Room/GymnasiumOpen basketball time is subject to room availability. Open play schedules are pub-lished weekly. Check our Facebook for daily availability.

Indoor Facility RentalsThe Community Center has small meeting rooms and the multipurpose room for athletic use or events available for rentals. Rooms 106 and 107 can be rented together to make one large room. Rentals can be made up to one year in ad-vance and must be booked at least two weeks prior to the event. Damage depos-its not reflected in price chart.*Minimum of 3 hours required for closed hour rentals.

Racquetball Court UseAll-Facility or Recreation Membership holders may make one racquetball court reservation per day, up to one week in advance. Non-members may play rac-quetball on a walk in basis only. Com-munity Center daily fees apply. See page 4 for fees.

Kitun Dog ParkThe 2 acre dog park is located at 12343 Eddie and Park Road. The park has sep-arate areas for small dogs and large dogs. Crestwood residents receive resident rates for annual memberships. Tags are available at the Sunset Hills Community Center 3915 South Lindbergh, Sunset Hills, MO 63127. Youth ActivitiesYouth Activities

Dance5-6-7-8 grab your shoes and hit the stage! From beginners to advanced dancers, this community based program offers children and adults the chance to experience the world of dance in an instructional and fun manner for 6 classes. Dance attire for kids: Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Although no specific color is required for class, leotards and tights are mandatory. Instructor: Sandy Book, Dance Educators and Dance Masters of America with over 40 years of teaching dance. Recital is Apr. 23 at the Crestwood Community Center outdoor stage. A $25.00 recital fee is required for those who wish to participate in the spring dance recital. This is a one-time yearly fee and must be paid by Oct. 30, for your dancer to participate. This fee is a recital participa-tion fee and does not include the costume costs. Staying Home Alone (Virtual)This 1.5-hour class helps prepare the parent(s), child and family for the times when the child is home alone. Parents and children attend together to ensure both parent and child can determine a child’s readiness— physically, mentally, socially and emotionally—to stay at home alone. Families engage in work-shop-style activities to address issues that arise when preparing for this experience. A family workbook, family emergency cards, family fire escape plan, parent checklist for assessing readiness and first-aid kit are included.

Sculpture on the MoveThe City of Crestwood is part of the Creative Communities Alliance, Sculpture on the Move Program. The city current-ly has three sculptures located throughout the city. “To Bee or Not To Bee” was added the Rayburn Park in 2021. The artist is Alex Mendez who brought this sculpture to the city from northern Indiana. “Blue Eyes”, which is located at the grounds of the Governement Center was created by local artist Jessie Cargas. Muse-ic is on its second year of the two year program. Muse-ic is located in Whitecliff Park in front of the Crestwood Community Center. This sculpture is an interactive sculpture and fun to play with for people of all ages. The artist are Lee Leuning and Sherri Treeby from Bad River Art out of South Dakota. If you are interested in seeing other sculptures in the St. Louis region you can download the Otocast app.

Sappington House Foundation The mission of the Sappington House Foundation is to preserve the past by inspiring generations to discover and appreciate their own and Crestwood’s heritage. Membership is available to all who desire to help preserve our over 200-year-old local landmark. Vol-unteering is a privilege, sharing the Museum with tourists from near and far, and assisting visitors in the Library of Americana or Loft Gift Shop. House ToursThe Thomas Sappington House and Museum, at 1015 S. Sappington Road in Crestwood, was built in 1808 during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. The restored site is an outstanding example of Federal architecture, popular during the post-revolutionary period, but rare in Missouri. The furnishings from 1780~1830 enhance the elegant ambiance. The Sappington House is judged to be the oldest brick home in St. Louis County and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974.The museum is open for touring Wednesday-Friday and the third Saturday 11:00am - 2:00pm; Last tour begins at 1:30pm; $5 per adult, $1 per child. Group museum tours may be arranged through the resident manager, Sally Cakouros, at (314)822-8171. A 19-minute DVD of the tour is available for viewing in the Library of Americana and Decorative Arts by those physically unable to tour the two-story home.
