Phases of the making of the stopmotion on Mahmoud Darwish’s

poem: «Identity»

I- PREPARATION

• Contextualize children with History• Talk about law/rights/fundamental Texts• Translation of the poem into Portuguese• Listen to the poem• Various and several readings of the poem

II- MATERIAL

1. Large piece of paper on the floor for a collective drawing

2. Pencils, water colours, pens, ink, markers,tissue, recipient for water and mixing colours, pastels

3. Camera, computer/sound/printer

III- GETTING READY

1. Cut out the drawings2. Take pictures or digitalize the cut out

drawings3. Reduce the size of images using a

software(1)

4. Cut out images using a software (2)

5. See some images

IV- STOPMOTION

Using a software, for example:Flash, Gimp, VirtualDub

- title frame

- insert the sound track

- Insert images according to sound track

- Information frame
