1 Overview of Creating RNC2600 Hardware Configuration

These instructions describe the hardware creation with MML commands for the RNC2600.

You need these instructions, for example, when you create new capacity steps or add new plug-in units into the hardware database.

These instructions are valid for the following RNC2600 capacity steps:

RNC2600 capacity step 1

RNC2600 capacity step 2

RNC2600 capacity step 3

The document lists the required MML commands for creating the equipment database.

This document should be used in combination with the Hardware Expansion documentation.

For cabling and equipping specific instructions, see the documents under RNC Hardware Installation Reference and in the separate Site Documentation set.

Cabinet, subrack and plug-in unit types depend on the used hardware.
