Thenextscreenyouseeisofagirlplayingwithadoll.Thenthenasthegirlis

fullinvestigationmode,shewondersifit'sjustthedollthatiscausingthesethingsto
happen.ShefiguresoutwhythedollispossessingKasey,thefirstownerwasmeetwith
anunexpecteddeath.Thisisthescenewiththegirlinthetree.Thegirlranupthetreeto
hidefrompeoplewhowereteasingherbutsheslipsandfalls,asseeninthescene.The
dollintheonlythingthatisleft.
Thefinalsceneyouseeisofabigoldhouseburning.IntheendAlexwithsome
helpfromsomefriendsfigureoutthattheonlywaytogettheghostsout,istoburnthe

theghost.However,Ithinkjusthavingthefinalsceneofthetrailerbetheburninghouse
theendingisnotgivenawayfully,youstillareleftwithmanyquestionsrunningthrough
yourhead.Withthosequestionsrunningthroughtheaudience'smind,theyshouldbe
intriguedandwanttofindoutmore.Thebackgroundmusicthatisusedisachildren's
tunewithchildren'slaughter.Themusicmixedwiththelaughtergivesyouabitofan
eerieanduneasyfeeling,butitalsoleavesyouwonderingandwantingtoknowmore.
IfIweretoactuallycreateacastforthismovieIwouldwanttoselectactorsand
actressesthatIknowcanplaytherolewell.
ForstartersthemaincharacterAlexwouldbeplayedbyaguy,yesitisabitodd
tochangesomethingasbigasthat,butitcaneasilybesmoothedout.Ibelievethat
MichaelCerawouldbeagreatfitfortherole.Inmostofthemovieshehasbeenin,Cera
playsanoutcastofsocietyorthatweirdkidthatkeepstothemselves.Alexisaquietgirl
whokeepstoherself,shedoesn'tmindbeingalone.ThatiswhyIthinkMichaelCera
wouldbetheperfectactortoplayAlex.
NextIwouldcastAbigailBreslinasKasey,buttheyoungerAbigailifpossible.
InthepastBreslinhasplayedmanylittlesisterroles.LikeherworkinMySister's
Keeper,sheplayedthestubbornlittlesisterthatalsocouldbesweet,butshecanalsoplay
