FUTUHE EVMGELISTIG EFFORTS
Just recently the Yahez congregation•launched a planned -evangelistic program tocover a year's time. A committee composedof Ed Crandell, Hector Gonzales, and PedroHemandes has proposed a one week evangelistic meeting every three months using theservices of a guest Kexican or American evangelist of outstanding ability. Each ^dJJLbe called for two weeks, the additionalweek to be used with one of the other area
congregations. Three men have already beencontacted, and one is Just completing twoweeks of preaching in the area. BrotherRoberto Floras has been with us the secondand third weeks of February. Brother GilContreres is scheduled for late April orearly ICay, . Brother Dean Gary is scheduledfor mid-summer.
TRANSPORTATION FOR ARTDRO
The first week of February, ArturoRamirez purchased cne of the light weighttype motorcycles to provide transportationfor his work. He is very proud of thishelpful tool and even Ed Crandell gets torido it once in a while. Payments on thismotor bike have produced a decided strainon Arturo's meager income. If any of ourfriends would like to help him with one ofthe ^25«00 a month payments, we are sure hewoTild bo very grateful. These gifts can bechanneled through the Crandell's ForwardingAgent if desired.
fiflsi II spfliisEd Crandell preached his first full ser
mon in the Spanish language at Polanco onJanuary IS. Since then he has preachedagain at Yahez. It is still very difficultand takes several hours of preparation, butcontinuing classroom study of the languageimproves his ability each week.
