Project Overview

Modelling Stages Finding out exactly what

the client wants Concept art Fine tuning to the point

where both the client and the target audience is happy

Begin 3D Modelling Setup blueprints to work from Model from blueprints Deliver to client Change accordingly (rarely is

client happy with the first 3D model)

Once client is happy with the model – begin rigging

Rig must be realistic and practical

Once rig is complete, apply textures

Fine tune once again until client and target audience are happy

Working very closely with the client, begin keyframe animation (end of year project)

Client Requirements “It must look cool!” Client is very open

to ideas and new concepts – trying to create a new fantasy direction

Ensuring hardware/software available to use

Hardware Requirements PCs must have

minimum two processors

1GB RAM Software

Requirements 3DS MAX 2009 Maya 2008/2009 Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Photoshop
