Language points

The Chinese language differs from Western languages in that, instead of an alphabet, it uses characters which stand for ideas, objects or deeds. in that 在于；原因是Traditional Chinese sports are similar to the Western sports in that both are meant to improve people’s health.

However, as a whole, the characters have developed from drawings into standard forms. as a whole 整体来说；总体上As a whole our efforts did not prove to be futile. The project will be great for our city as a whole.
