CP regulations
Def: 3 level of hazardous atmosphere
1) The level of oxygen is not within in the range of
19.5% to 23.5% by volume
2) The level of flammable gas and vapour is 10% or
more of its lower explosive limit (L.E.L)3) The level of toxic

permissible exposure levels as specified in the
first schedule of WSH (General Provisions)

Entry ingress by persons into CP, when a

CP are safe and without risks to the health of every
person entering or leaving the same.
Evaluation of the need for entry into CP
Occupier to ensure 1) an evaluation to consider
the necessity to enter or to carry out work in CP.

been issued for such entry into CP.

1) The person is wearing a suitable breathing
apparatus
