    Legacy of the Leaf

    Maple Leaf Cement was founded in 1956 as a joint collaborationbetween West Pakistan Industrial Corporation and Government ofCanada.

    The MapleLeaf was inherited from Canada and given a green colour

    from Pakistan.

    Our identity since then, the Green Leaf symbolizes integrity, strengthand a commitment towards building a prosperous future.

    Today, with a production capacity of 14,000 tons/day, we stand as thelargest single unit Cement Manufacturer in Pakistan.

    Our production plant is powered by cutting edge technology that helpsus dominate local & international markets.

    Maple Leaf is a part of the Kohinoor Group of Companies which is arenowned business empire in Pakistan.

    Kohinoor Textiles encompass a complete textile solution with spinning,

    weaving, dyeing and stitching of fabric into local and exportablematerial.

    Maple Leaf has a team of over 1,200 professional and highly skilledworkers that make us what we are today.

    Maple Leaf Trail Blaze

    Established as a Joint Venture between West Pakistan Industrial Development

    Corporation (WPIDC) & Government of Canada

    1956 Incorporated as Maple Leaf Cement Factory with a capacity of 300,000 tons

    clinker per annum

    1960

    Privatized and transferred to Kohinoor Group forming Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group

    (KMLG)

    1992

    Company was listed on all three Stock Exchanges of Pakistan

    1994

    Dry process plant capacity increased from 3,300 tpd to 4,000 tpd through

    debottlenecking and up-gradation2005

    The Company undertook another expansion of 7,200 tpd grey clinker capacity

    2007 Production of Oil Well Cement was initiated making Maple Leaf the only company

    that makes all cement brands in Pakistan.

    2008

    Waste Heat Recovery project completed worth PKR 3 billion to recycle heat in

    compliance with ISO standards & become competitive

    Denmark. FLS Smidth is the global leader in development of high tech

    cement manufacturing equipment.

    We haver two production lines at the same facility that ensure

    continuous production of cement 24/7 330 days a year producing anddelivering freshly manufactured cement.

    Presence of naturally enriched mountains ensure to unmatched quality

    with OPC strengths reaching upto 10,000 PSI.
