What is PTEPTE is a completely computerizedEnglish test that you could use to proveyour eligibility to study abroad, workoverseas or permanently migrate toanother country. Today, Universities, skillsassessing authorities and governmentsall around the world recognize PTE as alegitimate language skills testing system.In simple terms PTE is a substitute for themost popular IELTS and it comes withmany advantages. It is much easier toscore in PTE compared to IELTS becausethe test is conducted via a softwareplatform.

To complete a PTE Academic test, you willneed to attend a secure Pearson testcenter. You will use a computer and aheadset to listen to, read and respond to questions. During the three-hour test session, there are three main parts to the test: speaking and writing (together), listening and reading. There is also an optional 10-minute break between the reading and listening parts. During the test, you will find twenty different question formats, ranging from multiple choice through to essay writing and interpreting information.

PTE Academic assesses real-life, academic English, so you will hear excerpts from lectures and view graphs and charts. You will hear a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native speakers, so you will be exposed to the type of accents you will encounter in everyday life.

CCLWhat is this CCL ? Is that an alternative option for PTE or IELTS ? No, this is not an alternative option for any other English language testing but still allow you to gain five extra points for your skilled migra-tion application in Australia. In a nutshell, the NAATI CCL test (Credentialed Community Lan-guage) ascertains the potential of an exam taker to convey the meaning of a conversation from the English language to LOTE (Language other than English) and the other way round, as well. The NAATI CCL test is often not given its due impor-tance by Australia PR aspirants. This is due to the popularity of other English language proficiency tests such as PTE & IELTS . But, from the students’ and skilled migrants point-of-view, the NAATI CCL is one of the easiest tests to crack. Cracking the test gives you 5 GOLDEN points for your Australia Permanent Residency application. CCL takes a lot less effort when compared to other English language proficiency tests such as IELTS or PTE. Only 1% of the content when it compares with PTE. Unfortunately, a lot of aspirants miss out on taking the NAATI CCL test, because they are not too aware of it.

In the CCL Test, a testing officer plays a recording for the test taker to interpret and translate. This recording consists of two dialogues. Each dialogue represents a conversation between a native English Speaker and a native LOTE speaker. A candidate’s response is recorded for the NAATI CCL scoring procedure. This exam will only take 10 minutes to complete.

How is the CCL Test taken?

Audio recording is played by the testing officer
