SuperMLCBetween SLC and MLC NAND, Transcend’s exclusive
SuperMLC technology adjusts the �rmware coding and
reprograms the two bits per cell of MLC into one bit per
cell, just like SLC NAND. With just one bit of data per cell,
Transcend’s SuperMLC �ash can speed up data access,
o�ering sequential write speed up to twice faster than
MLC �ash chips. In addition, SuperMLC �ash is more
reliable, more fault-tolerant and 10 times more durable
than MLC, providing up to 30,000 Program/Erase (P/E)
cycles*. SuperMLC increases the lifespan of SSD’s and
memory cards, making it ideal for industrial and
enterprise usages.

Anti-Sulfur TechnologyAnti-sulfur modules are those designed to prevent sulfur
buildup from resulting in abnormal operations. Such
modules may be used in environments featuring
extremes of temperature, humidity, or pollution in
which sulfur is present in high concentration such as
near the end of exhaust pipes or in mines.
To prevent sulfurization, resistors should be made
sulfur-resistant. There are several methods for creating
anti-sulfur resistors. Di�erent manufacturers utilize
di�erent patented processes. Transcend’s approach is to
cover and therefore isolate the electrode, thus
preventing hydrogen sul�de from coming into contact
with the silver.

Wide TemperatureTo ensure that all of its devices can be operated under even the harshest conditions, Transcend utilizes wide temperature technology,
allowing our �ash and DRAM modules to operate and perform reliably in extreme temperatures.
Transcend has implemented a proprietary wide temperature testing process to ensure the reliability of both its �ash products and
DRAM modules. Each product is tested in a Wide Temperature Cycle Chamber. Wide temperature products are those that have passed
this rigorous internal test.
In addition to data encryption, Transcend o�ers a variety
of SATA III SSD models that can be equipped with a
hardware purge function to execute a quick, secure erase.
The hardware purge pin is connected to the designated
pin of the controller’s GPIO. (Customized �rmware
settings are required to support the hardware purge pin.)
With Transcend’s hardware purge feature, sensitive data
can be securely, permanently erased in an e�ective way.

DEVSLP Device Sleep ModeTranscend SSDs support SATA3 DEVSLP. The minimum power consumption
measured by ULINK micro-current standard is only 1mW, which is far
below the average consumption of 5mW. It takes only 10ms to wake up
from DEVLSP, ensuring the high performance of resume. Without DEVSLP,
the power consumption will take up to 20mW.

Transcend’s SSD Scope Pro is a convenient software package that helps
users monitor and manage SSD status via an intuitive interface. It o�ers
various useful features, including drive information and S.M.A.R.T. status
monitoring, diagnostic scan, secure erase, health indication, system
clone, and remote monitoring.

Transcend’s SSDs equipped with hardware-based AES encryption o�er superior data protection and performance compared to
competing o�erings that utilize software-based or �rmware-based encryption.
With hardware-based encryption, all data is encrypted before being stored in NAND Flash. After the encrypted data has been
written into the �ash, it becomes virtually impossible to decrypt the data without the original key.
Performance is also improved compared to software-based solutions, since hardware-based encryption does not require system
resources to perform the encryption/decryption process.
