Course Safety Document
This document will identify and record all safety issues
relating to work on the course by the greens staff and
what measures have been taken to ensure their safety.
It is generally recognised that the playing of golf
presents some inherent dangers. However, Aboyne
Golf Club is committed to reducing or eliminating such
dangers wherever possible.
It is also incumbent on the club to reduce or eliminate
where possible the dangers to all employees going
about their day to day duties.
Additionally, the document will seek to identify the risks
to golfers when playing the course, and where feasible

what measures have been put in place to reduce that
risk.
Likewise, the risks to members of the public accessing
the course on the public footpaths. The following
signage has been placed on the course in strategic
positions to forewarn members of the public of the
dangers of walking on the footpaths which cross the
course.

HOLE 1 – “ROAD”
