Thiscourseaimsto buildon the principlesof communicativeteachingwith particularfocuson orallanguage.The structureof spokenlanguageis examined.The underlyingtheoriesof oralcommunicationwill be exploredincludingcommunicationtheories,ritualand socialevents,schematheory, and speechacts.
