Course description

This course will bring together International experts in the field of Craniomaxillofacial Distraction Osteogenesis from Europe and the USA and will provide a comprehensive review of the application of DO in contemporary CMF practice.

It is unlikely that a faculty of this quality will be assembled again, this side of the atlantic ocean. The breadth and depth of clinical experience is huge and will underpin the educational value of this programme.

The course will also give delegates the opportunity to hear first hand about the patient and carer experience of treatment with distraction osteogenesis, along with the psychosocial implications of this treatment modality.

Participant information

Participants on the course will have a full theoretical grounding in application of Distraction Osteogenesis in CMF surgery. All clinical applications will be covered and participants will be encouraged to bring along their own cases for the discussion sessions and "meet the experts" panels during the course.
