“February 2020” Busy Month
The month of February was a very busy month. Our
churches participated in three straight Saturday’s of
Ministry events. On February 1, we previewed VBS
material at the GCBA Mission Home. On February 8, we participated in
the “Small Ministry Conference” at Williams, and on February 15, we
participated in the “ABSC Regional Block Party Training” at Immanuel.
It was a great month ,with great participation from our churches.
“Our Heart Beat Is Missions 2020”
My heart is blessed to know that so many of our churches are participating in this year’s “Our
Heart Beat is Missions” offering. The need this year is even greater, due to the up coming
“Jerusalem First” one day mission emphasis on June 6.
Thank you for your generous hearts. Remember, you still have time to be a part of this special
time of giving! Also, don’t forget to start your food drive in your church for Jerusalem First.
Children Missions Weekend
This years children’s mission weekend is March 6-7, at Cedar Glade. My hope and prayer is
that your church is participating in this year’s event. Last year, over 150+ attended this week-
end gathering. This special weekend is formulated to allow your children to experience a fresh
look at missions, and for some children, it will be their first experience attending Cedar. Let’s
have a great weekend with our children!

“It' all about the Gospel” is the theme for this
year’s Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for
North American Missions. The Annie Arm-
strong Missions Offering emphasis, is not
just an opportunity to give our money, but an
even greater opportunity to impact our neigh-
borhoods, and communities, with the wonder-
ful news of God’s involvement in our lives. All
of us are painfully aware of the lost condition
of people, with whom we bump shoulders every
day. These lost people are our neighbors - people
right down the street from our houses. They
need to know of the hope we have in Jesus
Christ. Working together, we can be differ-
ence-makers, in sharing the Gospel across our
land. The suggested dates for this emphasis
are March 1-8, 2020. During this Week of
Prayer for North American Missions, consider
how you can make a Kingdom impact, by
praying fervently, giving sacrificially, and
going intentionally, to work alongside our
Southern Baptist missionaries, to do our part,
in sharing God’s powerful message of hope
and forgiveness.
