After viewing a few of my con- cept artworks with the clients for the mural art, the clients decided to have incorporated in the artwork some of their passions they have for bouganvilla flowers, cactus pear plants and tropi- cal birds of the mediterrean region. By sculpting tropical birds, some parts of the flowers, branches, cactus pear plants, prickly pears and a column from wood and styrene, this created an extra three dimensional effect with the low relief and high relef and heightened and unified the illusion of realism of the trompe l’oeil art. The textured walls enhances the realism of the textures on the ruins and in the land- scape art. I glazed layers of paint and mediums to get the depth, color balance and color values to achieve this realistic painterly style and aged fresco look. The experience of my clients working in high end construction and interior design in commercial buildings and residential homes along with their helpful and valu- able collaboration inspired me to do an impressive artwork so that every attention to details marries perfectly with the charm and decor style of this unique exclusive residence.
