(Youth Advisory Council) and Worst to First, came together with Executive Director Evangelist Reginald Benjamin to help withThe Able Body of Believers Alliance Leadership Center’s Annual Mother’s Day Celebration. The event is in its 5th year and honors 400 single parent mothers in an atmosphere of appreciation and love.The students decorated teddy bears before the event and personalizing each bear which was included in the gift bags for the mothers. Students arrived early to set up tables and decorate the room. Throughout the program, they served food, greeted guests and provided a hand wherever necessary. ” Jessica Sabia, Worst to First Advisor shared her thoughts on the experience, “The students were so excited to take part in a program that touches so close to home. Many of the students had relatives that were in attendance. It was special for them to be able to give them something for Mother’s day.” Echoing the same sentiments was Denisse Antonio, senior andYAC member “ It was a great experience to help at the Mother’s Day Event and help single mothers celebrate their special day.
