Mom’s DayHempstead High School communityservice organizations,Y.A.C. (YouthAdvisory Council) andWorst to First,came together with Executive DirectorEvangelist Reginald Benjamin to helpwithTheAble Body of Believers AllianceLeadership Center’s Annual Mother’s DayCelebration. The event is in its 5th yearand honors 400 single parent mothersin an atmosphere of appreciation andlove.The students decorated teddy bearsbefore the event and personalizing eachbear which was included in the gift bagsfor the mothers. Students arrived earlyto set up tables and decorate the room.Throughout the program, they servedfood, greeted guests and provided ahand wherever necessary. ” JessicaSabia,Worst to First Advisor sharedher thoughts on the experience, “Thestudents were so excited to take part in aprogram that touches so close to home.Many of the students had relatives thatwere in attendance.
