Winter
New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop* An early evening countdown culminates with fireworks and 10,000 beach balls being dropped over the family-friendly crowd. Then, as the seconds tick down to midnight, thousands of revelers watch an 800-pound glowing beach ball descend to signify the start of the New Year. It’s not Times Square… it’s better!
Panama City Beach Mardi Gras and Music Festival This two day festival has been recognized as one of the top seven Mardi Gras celebrations outside of New Orleans. The family-friendly event includes a themed kids’ zone, float tours, Fat Tuesday Street Fair, live music and a parade.
Winter Resident Activities The beach celebrates the annual migration of “snowbirds” with a variety of senior-friendly events. Highlights include a welcome reception, homecoming expo, game nights, film nights and the Senior Prom, where a king and queen are crowned.
Spring
Seabreeze Jazz Festival*Named to the list of “Top 10 Jazz Festivals in the USA” by JazzIZ magazine and nominated as “Best Jazz Festival” at the Oasis Smooth Jazz Awards, this annual event combines the top national smooth jazz artists with a full weekend of fun, sun, great beaches, and good times. The event attracts more than 20,000 fans from the USA, Canada, and Europe.
Spring BreakThe promise of sunshine and warm temperatures is hard to resist for college students and families looking for a break from the cold, gray winter. Thousands make their way to our beach every year for fun in the sun and a chance to recharge for the final sprint to final exams.
Thunder Beach* Known as the most “biker friendly” free rally in the United States, this event is held twice a year. Motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country enjoy scenic rides along the coast, live entertainment and local cuisine.

Summer Concert Series* Throughout the summer, visitors and locals gather for live concerts at Aaron Bessant Park’s open air amphitheater. The ever-changing lineup of entertainers offers something to please every musical taste.
Star Spangled Spectacular The beach celebrates Independence Day in All-American style. Families enjoy a day filled with live entertainment, children’s activities, tasty food and drinks – all capped off with a breathtaking fireworks display.

Chasin’ The Sun Music Festival The perfect reason for a late summer getaway. Some of the biggest names in tropical rock music will hit the Aaron Bessant Park stage for a weekend of laid-back island tunes.
Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam*This Labor Day weekend spectacular brings the best of today’s country music to the beach. During the day, some of the biggest names in country music take the stage on the sandy beach. Then, as the sun begins to set, patrons ride free shuttles to the main stage at Frank Brown Park. Notable acts have included Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins and Dierks Bentley.
Pirates of the High Seas Fest Columbus Day weekend brings a wave of fun-filled adventures to our coastal community. This kid-friendly event includes an ensemble of parades and sword-swinging showdowns, culminating with a dueling fireworks display reenacting the legendary “Battle of the Seven Seas.”

Visitors Guide AdvertisingThe official Visit Panama City Beach guide contains everything visitors need to know to fully enjoy their beach experience. The guide is distributed at the Visitor Information Center, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, Visit Florida Welcome Centers, Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, Bay County Chamber of Commerce and domestic/international trade shows attended by Visit Panama City Beach staff.
In addition, the guide is mailed to approximately 50,000 consumers annually by request (many via reader response cards in national magazines). An online version also includes links to advertisers’ websites. The guide is also available for download from the Visit Panama City Beach website.
The guide is a quarterly publication with a production run of approximately 30,000 per issue.
• Display advertising: four-color ads available in full page, ½ page and ¼ page sizes.
• Advertorial: advertisement in the form of editorial content. Platinum Sponsors receive one (1) advertorial per year and Presenting Sponsors are featured in the issue in which their sponsored event is highlighted.

more than 400,000 “likes.” Platinum Sponsors receive one (1) post per month (fun sighting of their product on the beach); Presenting Sponsors are named in all posts that promote the event.
• Twitter: the official Visit Panama City Beach account has more than 15,000 followers. Platinum Sponsors receive one (1) tweet per month with a link to the corporate website; Presenting Sponsors are named in all tweets that promote the event.
Visitor Information Center RecognitionSponsor name and/or logo featured on signage displayed inside the lobby of the Visitor Information Center, which serves approximately 50,000 visitors each year.
E-Newsletter AdSponsorship includes the company’s logo and a link to the corporate website upon becoming a sponsor, and once each calendar year via the Featured Sponsor section. The Visit Panama City Beach monthly consumer newsletter is emailed to nearly 120,000 subscribers.
Sand & Surf CollateralSponsor logo featured on materials promoting the Leave No Trace ordinance and beach warning flag system. Rack cards and window clings are displayed in all hotel/motel rooms and rental properties and are distributed at various locations, including the Visitor Information Center.
