Decision was made after having a series of meeting with displaced villagers which facilitated by the Sidoardjo Regent and National Team.

National Team requested Lapindo to compensate displaced villagers by purchasing their assets at value of :

Land : Rp. 1 million/m2

Building/House:Rp. 1.5 million/m2

Rice field: Rp. 120 thousandm2

The indicated value is far above the MARKET PRICE

Finally, Lapindo agreed to accept the request of National Team through Lapindo’s letter of 4 Dec.
