Balawant has more than 26 years of experience in energy, infrastructure and utilitiessector. In power sector, his experience spans across the entire value chain i.e.,generation, transmission, distribution and supply. He has been extensively involvedin design, development and implementation of IT Solutions such as MaintenanceManagement System, Regulatory Information Management System, CentralizedMonitoring System. He is the Founder and Secretary of “Indian Renewable EnergyFederation (IREF)” and a member of “Indian Wind Energy Association (InWEA)”,Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and also a life member ofComputer Society of India. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineeringand Master’s Degree in both Finance and Software Technology from the prestigiousMumbai University.
