Mr. Muhammad Hussain, late founder of ZAFCO GROUP, was bornin a small village in India and started his career in trading inBangladesh back in the early 1960’s. Mr. Muhammad Hussain attributed the success of the Group tovery simple and unshakable business fundamentals. Theseinclude simplicity and transparency in transactions, sincerity andcommitment to promises, and ethics in work and life.Above all, he valued people and relationships – and that, for him,was the bottom-line.

A Message from the new Chairman

It is an honor to write this message from the desk of Late Mr. MuhammadHussain, who served as the beloved Chairman of ZAFCO for 19 memorableyears. Great leaders are remembered by the legacy they leave behind, and inthe case of Mr. Hussain we will always cherish the dedication and passionthat he generously passed on to all the people associated with ZAFCO. Hisworking philosophy was his faith in hard work, helping everyone to growtogether and adherence to business ethics. Following in Mr. Hussain’sfootsteps is both an honor and also an extremely challenging task. May Godrest his soul in peace and guide us all to follow his example.

Growing together is not only a tag line, but it is also an apt description of thejourney ZAFCO has embarked on, right from its inception. The foundations ofour corporate success and strength are our customers, our suppliers and ourteam. A steady and healthy relationship with them is what keeps us intactand has kept us ‘Growing Together’.

In our progress, we have always been mindful that survival and growth intoday’s tough economic climate is only possible if a company keepsreinventing itself. We never cease to evaluate our course of action and makeadjustments whenever necessary to adapt to the new market requirementsand remain competitive.
