1998 August, 15-th is the official birthday of Sumotori Machinery Group which started its history under the name Hino-Vladivostok.

1999 Opening of representative offices in the biggest cities of the Russian Far East.

2000 Signing of long-term contracts with the leading Japanese truck transportation companies and authorization at all the biggest auto and construction auctions.

2001 Signing of contracts with key customers for supplying of construction and special machinery.

UNIC CRANES

FURUKAWA UNIC CORPORATION manufacturing truck mounted crane and mini crawler crane under brand name of "UNIC" or "UNIC CRANE".UNIC cranes are multi-purpose hydraulic cranes used for various type of loading works.

The structural characteristics of that cranes are well defined in that they all have long telescopic boom, hoist-winch as standard equipment, and the unique turntables system which enables continuous 360 degrees boom-slewing (excluding URA100series). SUMOTORI Machinery Group and our customers also enjoy with high reputations of UNIC cranes in their lifting performance, wide working range, easy operation and high level of safety devices.

Because of hoist-winch, long telescopic boom and the excellent hydraulic devices such as oil pump, cylinder, motor, etc. UNIC cranes function extremely well in handling heavy cargoes. The span of the outriggers is wide, and therefore the crane stays stable and safe. The 4 points supporting system also contributes to the stability during the operation of the crane. The maximum lifting moment of our cranes exceeds that of the models in the similar class articular type cranes.

KIA PASSENGER CARS

SUMOTORI Machinery Group is the official dealer of KIA Motors since 2010.

From its very humble beginnings as a manufacturer of bicycle parts by hand on the outskirt of Seoul, Korea, Kia Motors has emerged as the driving force behind the Korean motor vehicle for the last six decades, laying claim to the production of the country’s first automobile as well as Korea’s first automobile export.

The word “Kia” is derived from the Chinese characters Ki, meaning to “arise or come up out of” and a, referring to Asia. So when put together, Kia means to “arise or come up out of Asia”

CHARITY FUND “OBEREG”

Today the sense of a word "charity" is clear, probably, to everyone. During the last years more and more companies pay close attention to development of welfare funds and programs.

In 2009 SUMOTORI Machinery Group became a co-founder of the charity fund "Obereg". Its goal is extensive support of children who have suffered in road accident. As part of the action within a program in October 2010 the company initiated pictures’ charitable auction of the world famous photographer Rolph Gobits.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS

PRIMRING PROJECT

In 2010 SUMOTORI Machinery Group became the initiator of the PRIMRING project. It’s an autodrome which is intended for conducting regional, national and international competitions in 18 disciplines - 3 asphalt and 15 off-road. The complex will include 9 tracks and will correspond to the category 2 (FIA classification).

The idea of the "Primring" project is to create a modern sports and technological complex for teaching and training of sportsmen, first of all, teen-agers and young people. In future it will allow them to become racers of the world class. The autodrome is supposed to be open for amateurs, anybody will have a chance to test himself and his car. Rent subscription system will make the tracks attractive for all auto owners.

The autodrome is located on the plot of 78 Ha in the vicinity of Vladivostok. The location is suitable for the Primorsky region residents and for the guests. It is a cross-road of the major highways and can provide an easy access for sportsmen and for spectators.

The design is being worked out by the German engineering and architect company - Tilke Gmbh & Co KG, the designer of the international tracks including F1 in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Germany, Bahrain.

Construction will start in April, 2011 Off-Road tracks will be finished by fall 2011 Asphalt tracks (FIA standard) will be finished by September 2012 The Project will be totally completed by Year 2015
