The popular side. There is a lot to love in a Corolla sedan. With an array of luxuries adorning its spacious cabin, including:

– Trip computer, power windows and an advanced audio system

– A choice between the well-appointed entry level Ascent, Ascent Sport or the generously equipped Conquest and the range topping Ultima.

The driver’s side.Ascent and Conquest models feature a 100kW Dual VVT-i engine with either six-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Ultima sports a 2.0L engine (automatic transmission only) with 102kW and an 8% improvement in peak torque for easier overtaking and hill climbs.

The safe side.With seven SRS airbags as standard on all models, Corolla features both driver and front passenger airbags plus front seat side SRS airbags. Corolla is also equipped with full-length side curtain shield airbags and driver’s knee airbag.

In addition, Corolla also boasts:

– Minimal Intrusion Cabin System (MICS), Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) front seats as well as Toyota’s Safe-T-Cell

– Four-wheel disc brakes, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC)

– Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA)

– A reversing camera (Ultima model only) which projects an image onto a 3.3 inch LCD rear view monitor1 giving increased visibility while reversing.

The convenient side. The Corolla sedan offers more than just good looks.

The easy to use stereo system on the Ultima sedan, from May 2012 production offers:

• 6.1" touch screen audio with satellite navigation1 and traffic avoidance system2

• DivX®3 media file compatibility and Bluetooth™4 compatibility

• USB input for some iPods®5/USB memory sticks6

Further to this, the Ultima boasts Smart Entry and Smart Start technology which allows you to enter, start and lock the vehicle without having to remove the key from your pocket.

Always functional, the Corolla sedan features up to 29 internal storage areas, palatial rear seating with a flat floor, and a generous 450 litre boot capacity. And in the interest of safety, the side indicators have been built into the side rear vision mirrors, while a 3.3 inch LCD rear view monitor7 (Ultima model only) gives increased visibility while reversing.

All this, elegantly wrapped in a bold, sharp package, complete with sculpted front grille, colour coded door handles, sweeping front headlights and signature stepped taillights. It’s fair to say that the crisp Corolla styling hasn’t been compromised.
