Buying A Cordless Tool Combo - Cordless Grinder _____________________________________________________________________________________
By Kasmi Jaxm - http://cordlessgrinder.net/
When buying a new cordless drill, Cordless Grinder you may want to consider buying a cordless tool
combo. Cordless tool combo kits are available from every manufacture and are as simple as a drill and a
saw or as complex as a kit including every cordless tool the company makes. Here are a couple of things
to consider.
When shopping for a cordless tool combo, you will want to determine you main use. Most likely the
drill/driver is going to be the most common tool, that's a given. If you do any work fastening into
concrete, you may want to consider a tool that has a drill/driver that is also a hammer drill. This type of
hammer drill works well for drilling small holes like 5/32" and 1/4". If you are drilling larger on a regular
basis, consider a cordless sds hammer.
After the drill, the next choice is usually a saw. Depending on what you do, a cordless tool combo with
either a reciprocating saw or a circular saw is a choice to consider. A home owner doing just a project
here or there may benefit from a circular saw where as someone with some with a lot of remodeling to
do may choose a saws all. Of course, the obvious choice for a tool hound is, both! Just a side note, a
cordless reciprocating saw with a pruning blade is a great tool for trimming trees. You may even
consider a cordless tool combo kit with a jig saw, which really is a handy little tool. I like the fact that the
cord doesn't hang up when trying to make a precise cut.
Some of the more specialized tools you will find in a cordless tool combo are impact drivers. These tools
are really cool. Because they spin faster, they work well for setting self drilling screws. They also work
well for setting tapcon anchors and lag bolts. You won't believe the torque these light weight tool
develop. They are not a great choice for drilling but are great for driving screws and bolts. There are a
few cordless tool kits out there that offer a drill and a impact driver as a kit. You can also find kits with
cordless grinders, sanders and other specialized tools to make them valuable for specific applications.
And last but not least to consider is the flashlight. I used to think this was a dumb idea just an add on to
increase the piece count in the kit. But, now that I have one, I use it all the time. Think of it as a
rechargeable flashlight. Great for the trunk of you car, or camping, you will use it.
While some may argue, it is nice to have extra batteries or they like to have the ability to send out a tool
to a job with it's own charger, batteries and case, many times a home owner or contractor is better off
buying a cordless tool combo.
So, if you are looking at cordless tools, consider a cordless tool combo. While they are not for everyone,
many times they will save you money while providing you with the tools you need to get the job done in
one easy to carry case.
