The key benefit of cordless angle grinders is the significantly higher mobility thanks to the independ-ence from the electricity grid and the lack of cords which might get in the way. These tool drives are becoming more and more popular for assembly work and on construction sites in particular.

However, using them also entails some disadvantages: The battery’s limited capacity inevitably results in a limited performance and period of use per battery charge.

Tools which are suitable for battery operation can minimize these disadvantages. Tools with a low power requirement ensure the maximum work result per battery charge. For instance, cut-off wheels made of high-quality abrasive grain and a soft bond will discharge the battery much more slowly when cutting than comparable tools made of average abrasive grain in a hard bond. Moreover, tools for general use also contribute to keeping set-up times to a minimum.

With the Bosch X-LOCK system for angle grinders, you can change tools quickly and comfortably. Instead of a round centre hole, the X-LOCK system features an X-shaped contour, which allows the tool to be fixed on the angle grinder in a form-fitting manner. This guarantees that different tools can be mounted securely and comfortably in the shortest possible time.

With the versatile line of COMBIDISC tools with a diameter of 50 mm, PFERD offers further grinding and polishing tools which are ideally suited for use on small cordless angle grinders such as Bosch GWS 10,8-76. COMBIDISC tools can be used for a wide variety of applications ranging from coarse stock removal and surface texturing to polishing and offer optimal solutions even for complicated applications. Thanks to the quick-mounting system, tool changing and set-up times are reduced.

Note: Only use COMBIDISC tools with the appropriate COMBIDISC abrasive disc holder. The shank needs to be replaced with the adapter AF M5 CD 1/4-20 UNC (EAN 4007220064702). Thereby, the abrasive disc holder can be mounted directly on the drive spindle of the cordless angle grinder.
