As we move into spring, the days are getting longer and the

weather warmer. It’s the perfect time to take advantage of all

the new amenities in your community. The City of Coquitlam

is committed to ensuring its residents have as many

opportunities as possible to get and stay active.

We’ve been investing in your future, with recent improvements

to our parks and facilities across the City. In southwest

Coquitlam, the newly opened Poirier Forum is a multi-purpose

facility ideal for sports such as lacrosse, ball hockey and

soccer and provides a great new space for community

events like craft markets.

Over in northeast Coquitlam, the City is currently in the

process of planning a new neighbourhood park, Queenston

Park. The park will feature open lawns, a sport court and an

inclusive play area, increasing access to passive and active

play opportunities for the neighbourhood.

This Program Guide is an easy way to find out what

Coquitlam Parks, Recreation and Culture has to offer.

Flip through the guide to find programs and activities for

everyone in your family, from kids to grandparents.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
