Club in the heart of

the Norfolk Broads

Formed in 1938, today Horning Sailing Club is one of

the largest in the area, and is an RYA Approved

Training Centre,and part of the OnBoard and

Sailability Programmes. Racing takes place on the

river at Horning, on Hoveton Little Broad and

Downriver to Thurne.

The Club provides racing and training activities - as

well as opportunities for recreational sailing, and

encourages a variety of watersports.

MOORINGS AVAILABLE

Moorings for motor cruisers and other craft are

available - please contact moorings@horning-

sailing.club for more information.

2021 PROGRAMME

There is sailing for Keelboats, Dinghies and Cruisers -

and classes sailed include Reedlings, Rebels, Yare &

Bure One Designs, Yeoman, Lasers, Toppers,

Enterprises, Splashes, Optimists and Remote-

Controlled Lasers. Each year the Club runs the

nationally famous Three Rivers Race (www.3rr.uk) at

the beginning of June and Horning Open Regatta in

August. There is an active social programme

throughout the year.
