Description

The 4...20 mA loop current is measured and converted into 0...20 mA

or 0...10 V, respectively, depending on the type of converter.

The conversion is based on internal voltage and resistance references.

The signal converter can be used to convert a 4...20 mA signal into a

0...20 mA current signal or a 0...10 V voltage signal.

To minimize a possible voltage drop the converter must be located as

close to the voltage receiver as possible, whereas for current signals

large lengths of cables may be used.
