A new department was formed in the IDES subsidiary in Germany. This department deals with enterprise consulting for installation and implementation of software.

1-2 Another enterprise would like to install the R/3 CO module. There is currently only one company code, meaning that the enterprise would be displayed using a controlling area:company code 1:1 assignment. However, it can be seen that the enterprise will expand significantly, including abroad. You would therefore need to integrate new company codes into the controlling area. Which settings for assignment control and currency (type) would you have to make to enable new company codes to be added to the controlling area later on?
