General Information for Catering Services
Food & Beverage The current prices are indicated on the included menus. All prices are subject to a proportionate
increase to meet the costs of foods, beverages and operation expenses. Pricing will be confirmed 60 days prior to your scheduled function. For the best service, we suggest that you select the same entrée for your entire group.
Vegetarian options are prepared & served as requested.
CONSUMER ADVISORY Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs, may
increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.
Guarantee The exact number of guests attending a function must be communicated to the Catering Office
at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled function. This is considered a “guarantee” for which you will be charged even if fewer guests attend.
To facilitate ordering & scheduling, menus selections must be finalized no later than 21 business days prior to the function.
Banquet Meals Seating will be at round tables that seat ten people each unless otherwise requested.
Special seating diagrams with numbered tables are available if there is to be assigned seating. No food or beverage shall be brought into the hotel from outside sources by the patron or attendees.
Alcoholic Beverages
The Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile is responsible for the sale and service of all alcoholic beverages under the Illinois State Liquor Commission.
No alcoholic beverages shall be brought into the hotel from outside sources by the patron or attendees.
Special Catering Needs Our Catering Department can make arrangements for special floral, entertainment, ice carvings, audio visual equipment and theme décor. Engineering fees may apply for special presentations.
Decorations
Any decorations or displays brought into the hotel must be approved in advance in order to conform to the local fire codes & Hilton standards. Items may not be attached to any wall, floor,
window or ceiling with nails, staples, tapes or any other substance.

Audio Visual Audio Visual services and equipment needs can be arranged through PSAV, our in-house Audio Visual Company. Sales Tax of 8%, service charge of 22% and 11% service charge tax will be applied to all audio visual purchases.

Parking
The Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile Suites offers Valet parking at the door. Event parking is $27 per car Please advise the catering or sales department if you wish to host parking for your guests.
Overnight Valet parking is not discounted and is priced at $63 per car.

Shipping Service Deliveries / Packages To ensure your important packages are handled properly,
The Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile suggests that you ship your items no more than Three (3) business days prior to your scheduled function.

A handling, storage & delivery fee will be charged as follows:
$12.00 per box up to 70 pounds
Please have all freight over 70 pounds delivered to the group’s meeting space by the group’s carrier or drayage service.
These charges are IN ADDITION TO the charges the drayage service will impose once they have taken possession
of the shipment for handling and delivery
The Hotel is not responsible for lost or stolen materials nor return shipping or storage of materials at the conclusion of the event.
Storage Fees
Charges will apply to any/all materials received more than 3 calendar days before the date of guest arrival. $25.00 per (70) pounds of weight per day for every day prior to the 3 day limit.
Loading and Unloading

by the group’s carrier or drayage service.
All packages need to be secured and must have a completed shipping label on them. All billing information is required for the Hotel to ship your packages.
