TRAVEL CONCERNS

Some traveling concerns are that there are terrorist attacks, road rage, and you need to be aware of your surroundings so that way you don’t run into an Al Quida group (local terrorist group).

Three unique circumstances when traveling to Saudi Arabia is Fashion magazines and Christmas decorations might be confiscated since they don’t agree with the Islamic traditions. Also you have to have permission from your husband if you want to leave the country. Last they don’t recognize dual nationality so they will confiscate your passports if you want to become a citizen

TOURIST SITE #2The Habalah is located by the city of Abha

in Saudi Arabia. Now that the place is deserted, the secluded houses have become popular destinations for tourists. The name Habalah means the hanging village. Actually, the village is located on the top of a cliff, which is about one thousand feet high. This cliff cannot be accessed by roadways. Habalah happens to be the first place to be communicated by cable car.

IMPRESSIONS

Three surprising facts that I learned are that, one the consequences in Saudi Arabia are far more extreme then in the U.S. Example- You get killed for having possession of drugs or trafficking them. Two, about 100% of the population in Saudi Arabia is Muslim. Last three, only males that are 21 years and older are able to vote in the country.
