Our company was formed by private persons who had had extensive experience in various fields of the Hungarian industry, most of all in the chemical industry in the area of technology, design, project management and economics. Our experts have had long experience in planning (10-40 years), and speak several languages. Beyond observing domestic regulations, our staff is prepared to perform design according to foreign standards (DIN, ANSI, API) as well.

Our company is ISO 9001:2008 certified, has designer third party insurance, and owns all the qualities, skills and aptitude which makes it an equal competitor of any company with longer tradition in performing such activities.

Planning work method

We usually perform the planning of industrial facilities with the help of 3D CAD architecture and editing tools, assisting our engineering thinking. We prepare the 3D model of the system to the detail we think is necessary and what suits our client best.From the model 2D projection drawings, isometric piping plans and axonometric 3D plans, and explaining images are made. We can also perform the generation of a bill of materials, so preliminary cost estimates can be prepared in the early stage of planning.

We are also designing building constructions and technological steel structures (stands, holders of equipment, secondary steel structures, pipe holders). Technological design is performed in a 3D CAD environment, so we treat the design of steel structures this way too. As they are characterised by many repeating shapes (sheets, consoles, columns, stairs, stepping stones, balustrades, etc.), therefore we consider the preparation of parametrically transformable models the most efficient work method. We generally use the AutoDESK Inventor program, for the past few years we have collected a significant database, so we can perform the simpler, routine tasks quickly and efficiently. In our experience, another benefit of design documentation compiled this way is that for both workshop work and on site assembly a neat, uniformed documentation can be compiled. CAD data significantly support the cutting of shaped sheets, or making bore patterns in the case of programmable machine tools. We also prepare a lay out of complicated, complex surfaces, and we can also make a contour description or a lay out drawing printed on paper.

Equipment and steel structure design

We work based on Euronorm standards, but we have had extensive experience in design according to ASME, ANSI, API, BS, DIN, GOST

standards as well. We are using the corporate level regulations of our clients, or we establish project-specific regulations if necessary.

We have had a good relationship with the regional offices of the Hungarian Trade Approval Office, we provide full support to our

clients in the filing of technical safety and construction authority claims and in the administrative tasks related to obtaining

permissions and fulfilling their reporting obligations.We often work together with the experts of independent certification organisations, we prepare documentation in Hungarian or in a foreign language (English, German, French, Russian), which always complies with the requirements of Hungarian and foreign Notify Body plan checks.We have had good relationship with the suppliers of trade items, such as pumps, compressors, blowers, spin dryers, conveyors, and we help our clients in selecting appropriate equipment, and comparing technical descriptions and price offers.

Digital operation

Our clients increasingly often require to have a 3D CAD model of their existing facilities, and adjust them to their existing IT systems. The measurement of smaller object can be done manually, but for bigger ones a 3D laser scanning procedure is appropriate. We are doing the exact mapping of the actual facility by processing the scanned files and 3D modelling. These models can be edited, modified and are suitable for further design.

The character of our planning tasks is dual, in general we are preparing mainly engineering implementation and approval design documentations of plants, however we are also designing a large number of unique equipment for plants and manufacturing works. We also perform technology and endurance sizing, prepare data sheets for equipment, final construction drawings, perform equipment check, and also make comprehensive filing in accordance with legal expectations at the authorities.We have had long experience in the design of equipment characteristic of chemical industry processes, and we are specialised in the design of the following types:

TRIFLEXSince the introduction of the European standard system of pressure-holding equipment and facilities in Hungary, since the beginning of the 2000-ies there is an increasing demand for the performance of piping system pressure analysis and attach it to permission documentation to authorities. Based on our prior knowledge and the presentations of software traders we decided to use the TRIFLEX program. We performed the check of many unique pipe sections and statistically connected piping systems with the help of that software. As an unknown option before, we used the software to select supports with permanent spring strength and definite spring invariable. Documentations compiled by us performed well in various projects, according to several foreign independent certifying companies and authority checks.

Static sizing

CAEPIPEIn the past few years the integration of CAE and CAD programs, joint data using surfaces and interface options are getting more and more popular. The permanent need to use designing time more efficiently as well as the observation of the benefits of joint model use urged us to find a software suitable for pipeline pressure analysis, which brings together the benefits of all previous tools. During the theoretical preparation of our experts (2010 – Budapest University of Technology and Economics – Static check of Energetic pipelines) we procured the CAEPIPE software and used it for the design tasks of a water cleaning plant in Kazakhstan. When using the software, another benefit is that independent certifying organisation TÜV also uses CAEPIPE, therefore for the plan examiner we can present the examined model along the documents on paper, which is very persuasive.

AXIS VMIn the course of the solution of facility design tasks the static examination of support structures also has to be performed. The design of building structures, supports and the technology system are work phases strongly affecting each other, therefore the two are treated in connection with each other. As static structures need to be modified on various occasions, we have chosen a work method which supports quick, spectacular re-parametrization. The AXIS VM program reflects engineer thinking, its database (mechanical characteristics of materials, profile tables) support the solution of most tasks. Its static checking functions are mostly used for the sizing of pipe supports, pipe bridges, equipment supports, building structures, however we have studied shell-like container tanks with plate borders and their shape modifications, static compliance on various occasions. Before the start of construction design we can provide our clients the Bill of Materials generated by the program based on the static model, therefore the majority of the necessary materials can be ordered already in the early phase of planning.

PDMSThe strategic goal of our company is to participate in the implementation of design projects outside the market of the neighbouring countries, in Western Europe as well. The engineering skills of our experts are outstanding in industrial machinery and piping. Our elder colleagues learnt languages while at work, and when we recruited our younger professionals, we consciously hired colleagues speaking foreign languages confidently. In the implementation of international priority projects we mostly use the renowned 3D engineering facility planner PDMS software of AVEVA. In 2009 we decided we will partly transfer to the use of PDMS, our experts were trained to use the system administrator and designer applications by experts of the AVEVA GmbH Hungarian Representative Office.

In 2010 we decided to establish our own (EN) spare part catalogue and pipe classes. Besides, we prepared the piping model of a tank park, by which we also tested the AVEVA VNET application.

3D Final construction drawing

CADMATICIn accordance with the expectations of our clients, we started using the CADMATIC 3D facility design software application in 2008. Our models are made with the application of the pipe classes obtained, and we usually perform the individual design tasks of technology blocks and units separated in space. Eight of our experts have learnt how to use the program, however in case we conclude a separate agreement with our partner, we are ready to implement projects in cooperation, thus we are able to perform the design of bigger facilities, in accordance with the deadline expectations of our clients. In the performance of remote presentations we found the built-in display of the software, the eBrowser application quite useful, its application provides quick and meaningful communication between project participants.

AUTOCAD PLANT 3DSince the establishment of Nitroterv Kft., our experts have been using the software of Autodesk to prepare drawings. With the launch of the 3D functions of the Windows-based AutoCAD R14 version we introduced 3D design methods. We tried out and used all the versions of AutoCAD lauched in the past ten years. Therefore we have always been looking for a facility design software on the market, which can support our work running on an AutoCAD base. We could not find an impeccable solution, we extended our applications with our own developments, making them in AutoLISP and VisualBasic programming environment. AutoDESK Plant 3D is a totally new application, its trial version had already persuaded us. The software was launched at the end of 2010, we have used the trial version to design smaller facilities. We are planning its introduction when we change our software in the beginning of 2011.

HUNGRANA Kft. P3000 projectDesigner quality awardBetween 2005 and 2007 HUNGRANA KFT. doubled its manufacturing capacity (1500 t/day) to 3000t/day. Practically the capacity of all their plants was doubled, and in all their technology plants they chose us as general designers (technology-engineering, architectural, electric – control engineering technology). The total staff of our offices was designing these plants for approximately 18 months. We prepared the permission and final construction drawings from the Basic Engineering plans of Hungrana and foreign companies. We planned all the technology processes from the arrival of corn to the end of iso-sugar production, bio-ethanol technology, bio-sugar manufacturing.

BorsodChem Zrt. TDI plantMedal of excellenceWe were awarded for the engineering-technology design work for the TDI plant capacity extension. The manufacturing design of approximately 50 per cent of the equipment was made by us. We compiled authority permission documentations about the various technology blocks. We prepared the implementation plans of the crystallization plant and D zone tank park.From 2000 each year we performed design work for BorsodChem Zrt. in approximately ~1500 engineer days.

We were present from the initial planning of the facility until the full delivery and putting into operation. The outstandingly innovative activities of Nitroterv Kft. is the 3D modelling of existing industrial facilities based on laser scan technology measurements. We have been doing this for Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. GyĂĄrtervezĂ©s (Plant design) in GyƑr since 2007, in cooperation with the HLS group staff. We use FARO Scene to process the scanned files, while the 3D modelling takes place in the Bentley MicroStation system, with the modules of the TRICAD MS software, based on the current HLS regulations of the Volkswagen concern.Recently we have participated in the following projects.
