CONSUL GENERALCALONGE CONTINUES PUSH FOR PASSAGE OF CONGRESSIONAL GOLD MEDAL ACT FOR FILIPINO VETERANS OF WWII
IN CALLING ON CONGRESSMAN REID RIBBLE
In continuing to push for the passage of the Filipino Veterans of WWII Congressional Gold Medal Act, Consul General Generoso D.G. Calonge on Tuesday met with Congressman Reid Ribble of the 8 th Congressional District of Wisconsin.
While Congressman Ribble had announced early this year that he would retire after his
third term, he informed Consul General Calonge that he would add his signature to the 305 members of the House who already support the bill. He also shared the Consul General's hope to see its passage during the 114th US Congress.

As a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, he further assured Consul General CaJonge of his desire to come on board the US-PH Friendship Caucus and endorse the same to his successor.
