Symphony Ballroom With elegant high ceilings and flooded with natural daylight, the Symphony Ballroom is the largest of the hotel’s function rooms. It can accommodate up to 200 of your guests for a ceremony, up to 180 for a dinner with a private dance floor and up to 300 for a cocktail party. The balcony, overlooking the Ficus trees, also provides the ideal setting for arrival drinks, receptions and canapés before sitting down for the wedding breakfast or buffet.

The versatile space can also be partitioned into three self-contained entertaining areas for smaller functions, providing further flexibility. Each self-contained entertaining area can accommodate 90 guests for a cocktail reception or 50 guests for a seated dinner.

Sonata SuiteThe perfect space for a reception of up to 110 guests or ceremony for up to 120. With a built in dance floor and lots of space for both a sit down and buffet style wedding breakfast, your guests can party in style or serves as the perfect space for a civil ceremony. It is located on the ground floor of the hotel, right next to The Gentleman & Scholar Pub and Terrace, providing an extra space for your guests to enjoy.

Drawing Room An elegant space which is the ideal size for an intimate wedding ceremony, where 30 of your nearest and dearest can watch you take your vows. The room is also perfect for a wedding breakfast of up to 22 or to celebrate with a cocktail reception of up to 40 people. The room has an open feature fire-place creating a cosy and elegant atmosphere and is located on the mezzanine level of the hotel.

With enough space available to cater for up to 300 guests, Hyatt Regency Birmingham has the capacity and facilities to ensure an unforgettable celebration.

We understand how important it is to ensure all your guests are perfectly catered for throughout your special day so we work with a dedicated Asian wedding specialist and have an agreed list of renowned external caterers.

For couples who would like to use external caterers for their large celebrations we offer a package which includes:• Main room hire• Tables and chairs• Dancefloor • White linen napkins and tablecloths• Cutlery, crockery and glassware• Provision to bring your own spirits, wines, Champagne, bottled beers and non-alcoholic drinks• Event Operations Manager on hand to liaise with your wedding planner or caterer, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day

To ensure you spend your first night of married life in luxury, as part of the “One Special Day” wedding package, you will receive a complimentary stay.

Hyatt Regency Birmingham also has up to 319 rooms for all of your guests to have a comfortable stay including eight Regency suites and three Executive suites which provide lots of space for members of your party to get ready together.

Your wedding coordinator will help you to book suitable spaces for all of your guests, with rates starting from £120.

Also situated within the hotel is Amala luxury urban spa and health club, perfect for pre-wedding pampering. Plus the Aria restaurant and Gentleman and Scholar pub which make ideal venues for celebrations.
