ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS:The Institution of Fire Engineers (India) was established on the recommendations of the standing Fire Advisory Council constituted by the Chiefs of Fire Services in India and headed by Directorate General, National Disaster Response Force and Civil Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. The Institution was founded in the year 1973 as a premier non-government organization (NGO) and professional body registered under the Societies Act, 1860 as resolved in one of the meeting held under the Chairmanship of the the Dy. Home Minister, Sh. B.N.Datar, Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. Institution of Fire Engineers (India) is dedicated to the cause of fire & life safety engineers and fire engineering profession. In order to meet one of its objectives the Institution is striving continuously to spread the knowledge in the field of Fire & Life Safety Engineering sciences through organizing National / International conferences & exhibitions and Seminars thus bringing all professionals connected with Fire & Life Safety and Disaster Management/Mitigation on a single platform so as to form collective opinion on subjects related to Fire Prevention, Fire Protection, Fire Fighting, Rescue & Disaster Mitigation with adoption of latest available technologies & developments.
