IntroductionCONDOR TRAVEL d.o.o. is a private company owned by Mr. Miran Krajnc, Mr. Matjaž Mlakar and Mr. Jurij Zdovc from Slovenia. The agency was founded in year 2000. We are a tour operator and travel agent that generates and integrates travel services on international travel markets.

For those interested in mountaineering there are possibilities at the very verge of the town. One of the most popular is the climb to the Celje Hut (Celjska koča), a mountain cabin located but a stone throw away from the idyllic village of Svetina.

You will surely be attracted by the beauties of the lake Šmartinsko jezero, the largest artificial lake in Slovenia, offering various forms of pleasant recreation: walking and biking, swimming, boat rides, horseback riding and fishing.

Cardio fitness is a computer-guided safe exercise, suitable for top and recreational athletes.

First, an aerobical and anaerobical test is made, on which basis a gym professor forms a personal programme, coded on a special exercise key. The key has to be put into the exercise device each time. The data collected on the key are used by a special programme to adjust the exercise to the individual.

If you want to experience kayaking, rafting or canyoning on a crystal clear river, Soča is not far away. Just go over Vršič. You can enjoy the same water sports somewhat lower, in the downstream part of the Sava River. The Alpine rivers and streams offer countless opportunities for fishing.

Rooms that can be found in the Rogla Sports Centre are equipped with special devices which modify air pressure and, thus, the percentage of oxygen in the air. Through computer monitoring one can simulate various heights above sea level and, by that, also the concentration of oxygen.

Training and living in these altitude rooms causes a rise in the number of erythrocytes (red blood cells) in the blood. Consequently, this improves the delivery of oxygen to the muscles. The results of training and living in these rooms can be seen after a couple of consecutive visits already.

Terme Zreče takes pride in acratothermal water, which contains calcium, magnesium, hydrogen carbonate. The water is naturally heated at 34.5°C and has a beneficial effect on the most common indications: - conditions after injuries and operations on the locomotor system, focused postoperative rehabilitation, especially of the knee joint, shoulder, hip and spine, degenerative and rheumatic inflammations of the musculoskeletal system, injuries and diseases of the peripheral nervous system and disorders of the peripheral blood flow.

Žalec is a land of green gold - hops. Those who want to explore can follow Pekel forest and geological nature trail as well as a hop trail. The latter includes all of Žalec’s major landmarks: the Novo Celje manor house, the Vrbje pond, the archeological park at Šempeter with large Roman tombs and, last but not least, the hopgardens.

There are also two extremely popular destinations for mountaineers and recreationists nearby: the area’s greatest karstic wonder, the Pekel cave, and Bukovica.

Near excellent pathways and cycle paths, at the exit of the highway Ljubljana - Maribor, lies family hotel Hotel Žalec. It has a perfect location just near the main bus stop. It is an excellent starting point for attending seminars and sport camps.

The hotel has been completely renewed and you can enjoy your meals at a new restaurant, have a cocktail in our night club or have some fun in our Casino Rubin.

You can also train in our new fitness or hold seminars in our conference rooms which are equipped with various facilities like a LCD projector, flip chart, a piano and many others.

There are 17 different local cycling paths of different difficulty levels in the Lower Savinja Valley that are interconnected and run on local and side roads.
