Concrete test hammer Concrete testing with the Original Schmidt test hammer is the most frequent used method for non-destructive concrete testing worldwide. For every demand and specific test application, Proceq offers the right concrete test hammer. Original Schmidt concrete test hammers are available in models with different impact energies in order to meet the needs to test a wide range of material t ypes and sizes. Our types N, NR, L and LR are best-suited and specially developed for assessing the quality and compressive strength characteristics of concrete with the range of 10 to 70 N/mm 2  (1450 to 10152 psi). Versions incorporating paper chart recorders (LR and NR) can automatically register the rebound values on a paper strip chart. Proceqs type ND and LD Digi-Schmidt test hammer measure the rebound values through an electronic method and allows the direct reading of t he test results in digital f orm. • Concrete test hammer

Concrete testing with the Original Schmidt test hammer is

the most frequent used method for non-destructive concrete

    testing worldwide.

For every demand and specific test application, Proceq offers

    the right concrete test hammer.

Original Schmidt concrete test hammers are available in models

with different impact energies in order to meet the needs to

test a wide range of material types and sizes.

Our types N, NR, L and LR are best-suited and specially developed

for assessing the quality and compressive strength characteristics of concrete with the range of 10 to 70 N/mm2 (1450 to 10152 psi).

Versions incorporating paper chart recorders (LR and NR) can automatically register the rebound values on a paper strip chart.

Proceqs type ND and LD Digi-Schmidt test hammer measure the rebound values through an electronic method and allows the direct reading of the test results in digital form.

Technical properties 1) nominal dynamic energy: 2.207J 2) rigidity of impact spring: 7.85N 3) hammer stroke: 75mm 4) impact hardness: HRC59-63 5) max static friction of pointer system: 0.5N-0.8N 6) average calibration of steel anvil: 802 7) size: 60*280mm 8) weight: 1Kg

Structure of rebound hammer HT225 Rebound Hammer mainly consists of impact system, reading system and housing opponents etc.

Please refer to Picture 1, Structure of Rebound Hammer. In Picture 1, the hammer has finished the impact performance and the pushbutton has locked the mechanism(i.e. reserving the rebound reading).

  • In the impact system, the impact plunger transfers the dynamic energy of hammer to the concrete test

sample, and rebounds to the hammer a part of dynamic energy after impact to make hammer rebound a certain distance. Impact spring mainly stores energy and gives energy to hammer, so the hammer is not only the carrier of energy but also the element to connect impact system and reading system; that is to say, the indicative rebound reading of pointer in the reading system is the moving distance caused when hammer rebounds and drives the impact plunger after it impacts the plunger.

The reading system is fixed to the housing and keeps with the impact system a relative position and movement relation. The compression spring drives the disk to the pre-established position, bringing back the impact system in the state of non-elasticity, and at the same time, the pointer is reset to zero.

The trip screw of rear cover is used to control the hammer stroke(separation point) and take-off point. So once being set, the height of trip screw cannot be changed arbitrarily.

    Note

Usually, staffs who are not trained specially should not verify the standard conditions of hammer by oneself. Therefore, the specification do not introduce in detail of the operation and steps of verifying standard conditions so as to not cause to bad consequence.
