LINTEC - the perfect mix of tradition and technology

In 1919 Eduard Linnhoff, the grandfather of LINTEC´s president Klaus Thesenfitz, started manufacturing asphalt mixing plants in Berlin. Since then the family has specialised in deve-loping, manufacturing and marketing asphalt mixing plants and equipment.

In the seventies and eighties, Fritz Linnhoff and Klaus Thesenfitz, in cooperation with the renow-ned German company Heilit & Wörner, revo-lutionised the production of asphalt premix by introducing the horizontal screen drum technolo-gy. It was the most cost-effective process of its time and highly successful compared with con-ventional vibrating screen asphalt batch mixing technology. In the meantime the 4th generation is involved in the topic road construction.

With this success grew the innovation and de-velopment work, that lead globally to a large number of patents.

The main features

The introduction of the LINTEC double screen technology and the world’s first asphalt mixing plant in 100% ISO sea containers.

Development, design and building of the world-wide 1st ISO sea container plant with vibrating screen deck for the traditional and classical markets.

Today LINTEC supplies both asphalt mixing plants and concrete mixing plants in 100% ISO sea containers worldwide.

Further advantages for the customer are provi-ded by strategic alliances with Linnhoff & Henne GmbH & Co. KG and ASCO AG. Thus LINTEC supplies its own products, together with mastic asphalt equipment, plant rental and financing arrangements.

ADvAntAGEs oF thE PLAnt At A GLAnCEErection and Testing prior to ShipmentThe components are erected and all motors, screws etc. run through a test phase.

Low Transport CostsEach plant component is supplied in a 100% ISO sea container, which has been inspected and certified by Ger-manischer Lloyd. Containerisation means: no low loaders, no excess width, no excess weight, lowest container freight rates and fast transport.

No Concrete FoundationsThe ground area of the containers ensure stability on com-pacted soil.

Short Erection and Dismantling TimeThe crane is only required for a short period and the plant ready to operate after one week and can be dismantled within a few days. Therefore the plant may be considered mobile.

Weather ProtectionThe housing of components within the rigid containers, pro-vide full climatic protection and maintenance safety.

Environment Friendly The LINTEC containerised plant produces concrete operating with low noise and dust emissions. Due to the modular construction with container housing no further cladding is required. For cold areas containerized environments friendly heating systems can be offered as optional equipment.

Plant Building ConceptIntegrated staircases and working platforms on each container floor enable an easy access to all plantcomponents which simplifies the maintenance of the plant.The Standard Plant looks like a modern factory building, not as a conventional Concrete Mixing Plant.Plant components can be easily changed due to the containerized construction.

Plant SecurityThe plant tower can only be accessed via one main lockable security door thus preventing unauthorised access to the plant, theft and vandalism.

Worldwide installations of LINTEC plants are accompanied, in parallel, with a dealer and service network. Today, LINTEC customers can depend upon 25 service centres in 21 countries.The investment in LINTEC equipment is assured by large parts inventory held not only at the main factory but also with branch offices in various countries.
