Marco Motroni 10 y.o. began his violin study at age 6 at the Music Institute of Long Island, under the instruction of director Carol Kushner. Marco attends Munsey Park Elementary School in Manhasset, where he has been a member of the 5th and 6th grade orchestra since 2nd grade. He has participated in NYSSMA levels 1-4 and received perfect scores each time. Marco won first place at Concert Festival as a soloist performing Bohm’s Perpetual Mobile as well as first violinist in a piano quintet performing Vivaldi’s Spring, both of which he performed at Carnegie Hall. He has also performed at Baruch College, Steinway Hall and Landmark Theater.

Serin Park 9 y.o., is an aspiring violinist and has participated in many concerts. Serin has performed six times in Carnegie Hall and Merkin Hall in NYC. First place winner in NY Music Competition (YWCA) and Golden Key Music Festival. Won Second    places in American Protege Romantic Music Competition in 2011, American Protege Piano and String Competition in 2012, ACO Concerto Competition, KRB NY International Music Competition in 2013. Serin has been learning violin with Ms. Yu Jeong Lee.  She is also taking piano and music theory lessons.Kyoko Saito 10 y.o.began violin study at age two in Tokyo.  She has lived in Japan, France and the US, and visited 17 countries. She lives in Eastchester, NY and studies with Keita Fukushima and Prof. Lewis Kaplan of Juilliard.  She performed at Carnegie Hall as a winner of American Fine Arts Festival in 2013. Kyoko has studied with Prof. Serge Garcia at l’Ecole de Musique de Fontainebleau.  She received a Potter Pre-College Scholarship from Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, was a member of Nashville Youth Repertory Orchestra, and a winner of Tokyo Music Composing Competition.

Yuri Kim16 y.o. is from Syosset, New York.  Yuri has been selected to perform in the 2013 Division 4 All County for the Band ensemble. She  received third place in the KRB NY International Music Competition and performed at Carnegie Hall.    She is part of the Queensland Youth Orchestra, volunteering time to perform at various nursing homes and hospitals.  She is also, currently in the Wind Ensemble at Syosset High School, performing a variety of music. Her flute teacher is Minjung Moon.

Michele Ripka 15 y.o. She is thrilled to be performing with the Concert Festival Orchestra today. She began her studies at the age of 3 under Carol Kushner and her mother Geri Kushner, directors of the MILI. At age 6 she won first place at the New York Competition and subsequently performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie. As a chamber musician and soloist she has won first place in several competitions, including the American Fine Arts Festival. Most recently, she performed at Weill Recital Hall as a 1st place winner of “Concert Festival”.

Gwyneth Campbell 13 y.o. started piano lessons with her father Jeffrey Campbell at the age of 2 and was accepted at age 12 as a student of Lorraine Nubar, Head of the Vocal Division, Juilliard Pre-College. She has performed at Carnegie Hall 17 times as a soloist in piano/voice as a winner at the American Fine Arts Festival, American Protégé International Competition, Music-Fest and Concert Festival. She has also performed at Cami Hall, Merkin Hall, and the Curtis Institute. Her last performance on 3/24/13 under the auspices of the American Fine Arts Festival was awarded the 2013 Special Prize. Awarded to only one performer in Spring’13 from all the AFAF concerts, Gwyneth was one of two Americans this year that performed in the “Moscow Meets Friends”.

Eunice Park 13 y.o. began her violin study at the age of 7. At the age of 10, she was accepted to be in the Manhattan School of Music Pre-college Division. She enjoys playing the violin as a part of a school orchestra and MSM Concert Orchestra as well. She was chosen to participate in the NJ Regional Orchestra 2013. She also won second place in American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition 2013 and will perform in Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as a winner. She has participated in Saarburg Summer Music Festival in Germany. She currently studies under Dr. Yu Jeong Lee.
