SyllabusSyllabus• Computerized Manufacturing Technology is a multi-segmented, activity-based

curriculum-driven program designed to introduce students to Computer Numerical Control (CNC), robotics, and laser engraving. Student activities are centered around the CAD/CAM software Mastercam, CorelDRAW, and several types of robotics software. Students will work on a series of exercises that progress from the basics of designing a 2D part and creating a toolpath to more complicated subjects such as designing a Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS). Students explore the advantages of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) through starting and organizing a manufacturing company. This course is recommended for college-bound students entering various industrial, technological, or engineering programs, as well as for students who will directly enter the workforce.
