Overview of the Company

Sat Control is a worldwide customer oriented company with rich international experience in manu-

facturing of active solar tracking systems.

Sat Control accelerates technological innovations by industry led research and development track-

ing systems offering outstanding long-term performance. Sat Control provides solutions that dem-

onstrate cost effectiveness, added value, and go beyond the business. Setting the highest quality

standards is Sat Control’s main objective.

Sat Control products are a result of intensive research and development efforts, manufactured in

a state of the art automated production environment and comply with the principal international

standards: International Protection Rating (IEC 60529 IP33), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC

Directive 89/336/EEC) and Low Voltage Equipment Directive (EEC Council Directive 73/23/EEC).

Components and materials used in production originate from well established suppliers, are pre-cer-

tified, tested and meet the highest quality standards. Due to the strict quality control at each step of

the production process, Sat Control is able to offer its customers up to 10-year product warranty.

Headquartered in Slovenia, at Sat Control we find our place predominantly in diverse international

markets. Tracker installations of every size have been deployed internationally, including utility-scale

projects in more than 45 countries over the world including Germany, France, Italy, Slovakia, Czech

Republic, Australia, India, Canada and the United States.

About us

The Solar Success Story Sat Control is a private company based in Pozenik, Slovenia. The company was founded in 1991 by

Joze Bolka and Bogdan Bolka a senior Satellite expert working in satellite technology since 1991.

Today, Sat Control is a international company, operating in more than 45 countries all over the world.

Sat Control has been leading and inspiring the solar industry with innovative, cost-effective, reliable,

robust and active solar tracking systems for more than five years.

Historical Milestones

2010

• Sat Control set up first 999,00 kWp Photovoltaic Power Plant.

• Sat Control develop and produce Solar Tracker SM54 Dual-Axis

• Sat Control develop and produce Solar Linear Motor SM44

2009

• Sat Control establishes a joint venture with Trio Solar Company.

• Sat Control acquires ISO 9001 certificate of quality.

• Sat Control develop and produce Solar Tracker SM34 Dual-Axis

2008

• Sat Control due to reorganization and reconstruction exit from its core business of satel

lite systems and enters in to Solar industry.

2006

• Sat Control receive the Golden Gazelle Award for the best fast-growing company the

Gorenjska region, Slovenia.

• Sat Control develop and produce SM3D12 satellite motor

2000

• Sat Control starts with assembly of printed circuits (SMT and THT) on an automated line

1997

• Sat Control develop and produce SM2D12 satellite motor

1992

• Sat Control start with production of field of satellite motors SM1 with reducers, satellite

antennas, and positioning devices.

1991

• Sat Control d.o.o. was founded by Jože Bolka and Bogdan Bolka eager to capitalize on
