our guiding philosophy

Uphawu Brand Builders was founded in 2010 and

is a 100% B-BBEE company (100% black owned and

60% black female owned) and a SME.

Uphawu’s vision is to deliver on our promises,

creating a sustainable business that will operate and

help clients build their brand, offering unique and

tailor made branding solutions.

We manufacture locally and mainly in-house, we

are importers and resellers who have managed to

establish international and local relationships that

enable us to source the best quality products at

very affordable rates, that can fit into any marketing

budget. This means that we deal directly with

manufacturers to control the production and quality

of our products.

Uphawu Brand Builders is fully focused on giving

our customers a brand experience, that will make

them, and in turn their own customers, proud to be

associated with their brand. For all your marketing

and printing requirements, we offer excellent quality

and personal service at competitive rates.

knowledge with state-of-the-art technology and

The strength of Uphawu Brand Builders has enabled

our company to manufacture most of our products

in-house, allowing us to create local employment.

We are highly committed to playing an influential

role in the fight against unemployment, in our

communities especially.

At Uphawu, we are committed to the development

and upliftment of our communities.

We actively support a home for vulnerable children

in Gauteng. Additionally, we support a youth

group nationally, where our time and financial

contributions train and equip the youth regarding

drug awareness.

In 2018 Uphawu contributed 50% of our profits to

these causes.

Mr Marlin Moodley is treasurer for both these

organisations, he also serves as a board member

for the local church and is a proud member of

Unashamedly Ethical.
